About me

I have always been fascinated by the healing journey and have enjoyed facilitating this work for others over the years.
Prior to becoming a psychologist, I practiced complimentary health for over 15 years, while teaching people with special needs, in anatomy, physiology, pathology, Aromatherapy & Reflexology, empowering them to become self-supportive. During this time I also qualified as a classical Astrologer, although I no longer work in these fields.
In 2021 I begun my Masters in Clinical Psychology at UCT. After my studies, I trained as an intern clinical psychologist at Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital, Alexandria Hospital, False Bay Hospital, Vanguard day hospital, and Mitchells Plain addictions centre. I also enjoyed doing a year’s community service at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. This has given me specific, broad and diverse experience in clinical psychotherapeutic work.
